Park Policies
Check In / Check Out
Check-in begins at 2:00 PM. Checkout is by 11:00 AM on your scheduled departure date. Early check-in is not permitted. For late arrivals, contact management with as much advance notice as possible so your assigned site can be unlocked and prepared.
All overnight guests must be registered on the reservation. Occupancy may not exceed the maximum permitted for the reserved site. Additional overnight guests must be added to the reservation in advance and may be subject to an additional-person charge.
Monthly or extended stays may be discussed directly with management and require separate approval and an agreement.
Site Changes
Contact management before changing sites. Site changes require approval and depend on availability and maintenance needs.
Open Fires
Campfires are permitted only in the fire pits or fire rings provided. Keep fires contained and under control. Fires are not permitted on windy days.
Parking
Each site includes parking for up to two vehicles.
Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges or early end of reservation.
Storage
Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.
Site and Park Navigation
Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads and designated public paths to walk around the campground.
Washing
Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with 1 bucket of water and a sponge. Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors.
Rugs
Rugs larger than 3 feet by 2 feet are not permitted because they can damage the grass.
Pet Policies
Leashes
Keep pets on a leash at all times for the safety of guests and animals.
Buildings and Pool Area
Pets are not allowed in the buildings. County code laws do not allow pets in our building. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts.
Cleaning Up After Your Pet
Be a good neighbor and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund or additional site cleanup fees.
Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pet’s well-being while you are away.
Pet Vaccinations
Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets in our park must be vaccinated. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date.
Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
Vehicle Policies
Speed Limit
The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.
Parking
All overnight guests must be registered on the reservation. Occupancy may not exceed the maximum permitted for the reserved site. Additional overnight guests must be added to the reservation in advance and may be subject to an additional-person charge.
Boats, extra trailers, and additional vehicles beyond the two-vehicle allowance require prior management approval.
No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block bathroom doors. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites.
ATVs. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts
OHVs are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park. ONLY to get to and from your site.
General Park Policies
Severe Weather
Signs for shelter areas are posted. We love pets, so please bring them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings.
Visitors
Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. Visitors may not bring pets. Turn 5 RV Campground reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm EST. Overnight visitors must depart by 11 AM EST. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.
Electrical Use
Keep electrical usage within your site’s rated capacity. Report electrical problems to management so maintenance can assist. Guests must not open, alter, or repair campground electrical equipment.
Restrooms
Bathrooms and showers are being completed as soon as possible.
We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.
Quiet Time Policies
Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.
Trash Disposal and Recycling
Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like possums and raccoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise night visiting raccoon at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash! Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans. Trash is emptied once per day. Times may vary due to maintenance scheduling requirements throughout the day.
Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.
Children
Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Horseplay, running, or being unsupervised by an adult is not permitted. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk. Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Drones
Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. There are several local area parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment.
Clotheslines
Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.
Fireworks and Firearms
Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibition of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Repairs
Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park without approval from staff members. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.
Safety and Emergencies
Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.
If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call Richmond County emergency services at 911 or the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 895 3232, 24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.)
If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
